The Dental Hygiene Program at Tulsa Community College is nationally accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation. The graduates of this program receive an Associate Degree in Applied Science and are eligible to apply for the licensure examination in Oklahoma or any other state of their choosing.
The Dental Hygiene Program admits a new class each year beginning in August. The number of students admitted to the class is limited to 14 students. The Dental Hygiene courses are offered primarily in the daytime and some evenings with an occasional weekend obligation. The Dental Hygiene program will take a minimum of four semesters to complete.
