Child Development Center Purpose
Our purpose is to provide community children with nurturing, developmentally appropriate, hands-on learning in the context of a full day, year-round program with low teacher-child ratios. The whole child is supported through educational experiences that promote exploration and self discovery in the areas of language, cognition, gross and fine motor, social, emotional and self-help skill development with an emphasis on promoting self-esteem. Activities are individualized, allowing each child to progress at his or her own pace. The Center is committed to excellence in instruction and serves as a laboratory model for child development and early childhood education programs.
