Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship
The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation's Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship is a major national scholarship worth up to $40,000 per year and available only to community college students. Applicants must be outstanding students with unmet financial need. It is not necessary to be an Honors Scholar in order to apply, but the scholarship application asks whether the applicant is an Honors Scholar, and this is taken into consideration by the national panel that chooses the scholarship's recipients. Students must begin the application process fairly early in the fall semester one year before they transfer to a four-year school. More information is available on the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation's website (www.jkcf.org). Each fall, the Honors Program coordinates the application process for TCC students. We hold an informational meeting each fall. At the meeting, interested students can receive information and ask questions.
