Hebrew is a language of heritage having been spoken and written for thousands of years. Aside from the Bible and the Dead Sea Scrolls, biblical Hebrew has been also translated into such languages as Greek and Latin; just two of our most ancient ones.
In the courses offered through TCC's International Language Center, students will learn the structure and vocabulary, as well as the fundamentals of Hebrew grammar. They will also get a detailed introduction of biblical Hebrew through biblical texts and narratives and examine elementary readings to continue the process of vocabulary building. Courses are lecture with some self-paced laboratory.
The Hebrew language and culture impacts our lives everyday. Courses are designed to introduce the student to biblical Hebrew with instruction in understanding, speaking, reading and writing biblical Hebrew.
